Stupid Love by Cindy Miles

4.0

ARC Kindly offered in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first Cindy Miles book and I wonder how I didn't know about her before this. I was instantly hooked, the characters were witty and sarcastic, and I felt that this made them very relatable.

"My f***ng* ovaries just started breakdancing. Old school style. Like 1984"

As Memory began to fall for Jace, so did I.

"And a buttery-voiced, muscular, bow-legged cowboy with soulful eyes recognised a quote from Titanic, and gave me a grin. Yeah, thats when I fell for Jace Beaumont.
Only, I didn't really know it.
Not until it was way, way too late."

And so it begins. I was constantly waiting for the hammer to drop about Memories secret, and that kept me in suspense yet frustrated me at the same time.
And then it happens, the secrets out.
I don't want to ruin it for anyone so I won't say any more other than how I felt for the last part of the book. I agree with other reviews saying they wish there was an epilogue, so we could see how the story gets wrapped up and if they get the happily ever after, like so many other novels do. However, at the same time I feel the last chapter summed things up in a fitting way. Quite a few feels at the end of this book, but it was a great ending and a really fun read. Now I need to go and read the first two. Well done Cindy Miles, this one had me hooked.
