I forgot how much I liked dystopian type novels and this gave me exactly what I was missing while also bringing something new to the genre.
I think the author did a good job with trying to create the world the characters are in without being too confusing. We get introduced to one part of the world in the beginning and then the second part about half way through. It isn't as detailed as other books, but that did not bother me.
I really liked the FMC. It seems like she is a relatable character who has real reactions to events in the book. Also, the tension between her and Antonio is delightful and I can't wait to see where it goes!
That ending! I did not see that coming. I can tell that the next book is going to be just as good!
There are times where there are sentences in Spanish. The only issue with this is that I was not able to quickly get the translation that is provided in the book. But, that is a personal issue and not anything that has to do with the writing of the book.
