Ok, so yes, this story is deeply emotional. Emotional, yes, but in such a beautiful way. I know you are probably sick of me talking about Titanic, but I have to say this... Kyland Barrett and Jack Dawson are the same person (which might explain my unconditional love for him), the sacrifice says it all. And I’ll never be over it all.

There were so many things I didn’t see coming in this book, totally mind-blowing for me. The plot twists made me mentally cry, scream and swoon. Oh and the Persuasion references, oh gosh, if you want me to love something even more, include Jane Austen’s references and I’ll go crazy for sure.

Mia has that powerful writing that brings you through all the emotions, and you love every damn second of it. Oh, how I wanted to cry (still am I cacti, yes. Only my nose was crying cause I was sick and I had to read with tissues up my nose but that did not affect my enjoyment one second cause this book was so fantastic it made me forget about the sickness!)
And I have to say, lavender has always been one of my favourite smells cause it’s soothing, relaxing, and after reading that book I just want to roll myself in lavender and smell it forever.

I don’t usually do quotes but I’m noting them now to put at least one in my reading journal and I have so many from that book so here are a few:

"That’s how Tenleigh affected me. I wanted her so desperately I felt like some part of me was starving for her."

"Don’t love me. Please don’t love me. I can’t stay here. Don’t love me."

"I do go to hell. Every day. For you."

So yeah... loved every page of that book. It is now living rent free in my head. I recommend you read it NOW.
