This volume is quite good and I think the time jump is spot on. I also like that we get a “specific” villain to balance against Erica rather than the entire Order. Not to mention, as soon as Cutter comes into the picture, you get a better idea of the hypocrisy and actual goals of the Order.
It is a little tough having to go through the same plot points in every new town Erica is hunting in. It’s not that it’s not told we’ll, just that the major story beats for how Erica is going to get connected to the town and meet people is almost predetermined.

This one in particular has a lot more body horror and shown aftermaths of some pretty fucked uo carnage. What Cutter and Solly have done to the children…that’s tough.
