This was my first Mhairi McFarlane book and honestly most likely won't be my last. I picked this up as an audiobook randomly through the library so went into it not knowing anything about it.
If you enjoy fun romcoms with POSITIVE female friendships as well as female empowerment I recommend. There was nothing in particular I loved about the book but also didn't hate it (hence the half way rating). It was a little slow at the start and found myself enjoying it more but not until I was about 50% the way through.
Overall wasn't a bad book or a great one but still enjoyed it.
