A Million Junes, by Emily Henry
5.0
Brilliant
This book made me slightly reminiscent of one of my all time favorite book series, The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. Of course I already have a soft spot for magical realism. That being said, I also feel that it's one of the hardest things to pull off, especially believably. But Emily Henry captivated me from page one, I could not put this one down. I was immediately immersed in Junie's world of magic, home, & loss. Beautiful lyrical writing, but also loved the light, fun bantering conversations between June & Saul. Every character became instantly beloved & I was reluctant to finish this one despite not being able to put it down. Thank you Emily Henry, I look forward to reading more of your work!
