The Last Chance Library, by Freya Sampson

5.0

I adored this plot. libraries are something i hold very close to my heart, and closure is a problem faced by so many small libraries. I'm glad there's a story out here to show that libraries aren't just about books, they're about a safe space, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Libraries are about the community. Even if you don't read, there's a place at the library, so it kills me that such a vital part of the community is being taken away.

It was such a well written book and I'm totally in love, despite the fact I was in tears for the last like 80 pages. Such a warm story I cannot wait to read again
