The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman
4.0
Be patient with reader, she gets better. At first I found Susan Deurden's style incredibly irritating and it put me off listening the first time I tried. She begins by putting emphasis on every noun. After a while i got into the plot and stopped hearing it unless I focused on it, and by the end of the book she had stopped it. I have just bought the next one, which she also reads so hopefully she will not go back to that style.
The story is engrossing and good fun, so if you don't have a low irritation threshold, I recommend it.
