Gloria and Aldo's story was so so incredible. I loved both of their character development and how they didn't let past trauma keep them from being happy with one another (for the most part). There was a lot of vulnerability throughout this book and I think Lucy handled these heavy topics with grace and care. I also enjoyed how it progressed over the same timeline as the first book. It was nice to get their story while Harper and Luke's was happening in the background because I feel like they were all so connected anyway. Gloria and Aldo were so gone for each other and I loved it. I felt so much power from Gloria as she took back the best qualities of herself. This was truly as journey of healing and empowerment and I was here for it!
