I finished this book in two days. "What Lies in the Woods" is one part murder mystery and one part friendship, and just how far we are willing to go to keep one a secret. And while a little slow at first, it ramps up, leaving you out of breath from all the twists and turns! However, it's more than a "who done it?" but also a story of survival and what it means to be honest with yourself and others.
I will say that the audio version was great for the women characters but all the men sounded the same, which only got confusing when two male characters where conversing with one another. However, I'm not judging, because I only know how to do like 2 voices. I just want to let listeners to know so they can take that into account.

Graphic: Death and Blood
Minor: Self harm, Suicide attempt, and Lesbophobia
