📖 Better Run

For those who know me, will know that I loveee the darker romance books, the more trigger warnings the better… So I was really excited to read this book! Unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. 

The idea of this book if definitely a dark romance readers dream, however I struggled with a few elements of this. For starters, I didn’t really see where the CNC was because I read it as it was pretty much all NC 😅 perhaps the fact that a lot of “kinks” seems rushed and not completely thought out didn’t help there, oh and the lack of chemistry definitely didn’t do it for me. 

This book felt more like the start, I feel like there’s so much potential for this to have been super dark and 5* but it just seemed a bit rushed and not really any character development.

This is just my opinion, we can’t agree on every single book so please don’t let my opinion put you off reading 🥰
