It Had to Be You by Susan May Warren

4.0

Eden, one of five children, is still searching for her speciality and she hopes keeping hockey's newest hotshot, her brother, Owen, out of trouble isn't it.

Of course, it would help if the team captain wasn't the NHL's last biggest trouble-maker, Jace Jacobson.

As Eden, Jace, and several other characters try to find their place in the world, an unexpected friendship develops between Eden and Jace. As each realizes their role, the relationship between Eded and Jace evolves into one that is more romantic.

Although there were many subplots in the story, all were neatly and well tied up at the end. One important storyline was left open so that more books about the Christiansen family are sure to follow.

A nice romantic read emphasizing the importance of hope.
