Another very quick read and pretty good book overall! I hadn’t read the sequel right  after the first book so I was a little lost but it filled in the blanks pretty quickly, I remember being underwhelmed by the villain in the first book but this one made up for it. In fact I like the sequel more than the first, if anything because I liked Captain Blakemore.
I was hoping he wouldn’t end up being bad because I reallt did want just another altruistic person like Tessa, but I think even him being revealed as king is salvageable like Harrison and Cory  have both been undercover before as well idk I liked him
the author def still uses the same words over and over again, like I said in my last review we should take a shot everyone she says censure, and this time contempt and also “human needs” that get taken care of. Other than that I did enjoy the book albeit it was a bit repetitive here and there
