The Junji Ito Horror Comic Collection, Vol. 9 by 伊藤潤二, Junji Ito

4.0

Hallucinations: 4/5, I liked Oshikiri's stories as a whole, and thought the idea of him and his house being haunted was a good one and allowed for a lot of creativity, especially with him living alone. This story really set the tone for the rest of the volume.
Bog of the Living Dead: 4/5, I enjoyed this one too, and liked the aspect of Oshikiri's hauntings spilling over into his daily life outside of the home, but also still being normal enough that he thinks he's going crazy.
Penpal: 5/5, I really enjoyed this story! I thought it was twisty and well thought out and written. It opens well to the idea of other dimensions.
Trespassers: 5/5, I liked this story because of how it looped into the other ones. It was kinda disturbing and really helped build Oshikiri's character.
Further Tales of Oshikiri: 4/5, this one was a little harder to follow, but ultimately I liked where the overall story was going!
Further Tales of Oshikiri: The Wall: 5/5, I really liked this conclusion. It ended with dread and an endless possibility for horrors in Oshikiri's future! Fantastic!
