This book as many could attest to is a tempestuous journey. Forget the husbands, Evelyn showcases the very essence it is to grapple with being queer and vulnerable and to live with that throughout a time where that would wreck a persons livelihood. But this book is not just that, and that alone makes it beautiful. Evelyn Hugo touches on how multifaceted life truly is, this book truly encapsulates how dimensional existence is.
