A Passage North by Anuk Arudpragasam

4.0

“There was a tendency, he knew, when thinking about people from the past, to believe that they’d remained the same while you yourself had evolved,”

This was such a profound, beautiful, and encapsulating read.
At times I would have issues with long looping paragraphs style of writing- where there is no dialogue but if the story is captivating enough you overlook such, and that is exactly what happened here. Being invested in the book so much that you fly through it because there is no pause in between sentences, just ten long chapters and by the time you think of taking a break you are done with it. Loved it.
