Finished this listen feeling ultimately pretty disappointed, which is unfortunate because this book had the potential for some good, freaky shit. But the ending was just so bland and lackluster. The third act was so fun to speculate about was Janie really a devil child? traumatized and misunderstood? was Hannah right or delusional? So much potential to really play with that, which made the ending a bust for me.
