The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare by G.K. Chesterton

4.0

An entertaining story that is a fun romp throughout the first 90% of the book and then just slams you (in a good way) with big philosophical questions in the last 10%, ultimately doing a good job with both sections. My one qualm with the book is that, as excellent as Chesterton's general answer to the problem of evil as it is posed by Gregory is in the past 10%, I didn't fully buy Syme's claim that
Spoilerthey had suffered that much at the hands of Sunday,
and so that keeps this from being a five-star review. That being said, everything else going on here was great and I thoroughly enjoyed Chesterton's writing.

Rating: 4 Stars (Very Good).
