The Book of Koli by M.R. Carey

adventurous medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes

4.0

Listening to this shortly after having re-read Canticle for Liebowitz was not deliberate, but did make for some interesting comparisons. I found this to be a solid start to Koli's coming-of-age narrative and will be listening to the sequel, though of Carey's works, The Girl with All the Gifts remains my favorite.
