We Must Be Brave by Frances Liardet

4.0

Somewhat slow moving, but the story made me bawl several times.

I read a forward from the author about how she had lost a stillborn child, and you can definitely tell the author had experienced the loss of a child in her book.

From the author: “Loss teaches us about one of the most enduring kinds of love – the love we have for the people we will not see again. And so we come to understand what endurance is. And so we value life. And so we grow.”
