The Year of the Flood, by Margaret Atwood

4.0

I was given this book for my birthday (in February), but didn't pick it up until mid-March. Though it took me a whole month to read this novel, it wasn't for lack of awesome. I'm a fan of Margaret Atwood and this book didn't disappoint. Characters were well developed, story was well-planned and executed, language was rich and engaging. It's been a long time since I read Oryx and Crake, but now I'd like to read it again to make the connections between the two stories. Four stars for a good post-apoc fiction.
