Both stories are very well written, timed, and thought out.

I loved the first, as it's based in a realistic Pacific Northwest Setting. A man finally pursues his dream of being an artist and makes it big, but he's always struggling to find time for the family he loves so much. The second was about a beautiful princess who wanted to run away to the western badlands and find the equally beautiful and magical evil prince. The story is about her struggle to be loved as a magical being, and the dichotomies between magical lands and non-magical lands and the definitions of love.
