The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge

3.0

"When Faith's father is found dead under mysterious circumstances, she is determined to untangle the truth from the lies"

I really enjoyed this book! Faith is such an awesome and smart little 14 y/o lady who really believes she can do anything no matter what. I loved the feminist aspects of this book a lot, because the inequality of men and women in the Victorian age was something that was really prevalent in this book, but Faith truly fought against it.

The mystery aspect of the story, however, was lacking a bit. I wasn't as surprised or shocked as I wanted to be, but overall I really enjoyed it and I give it 3 stars!
