This is a pretty promising start to the series. It’s a little fast paced for my tastes. I like when series spend a bit more time letting the reader get to know the characters on their journey but I do get a sense of the characters and their relationships in this based off their dialogue and body language. 

Definitely would love to see this animated someday because the magic and fight scenes are awesome. Character designs are also awesome and would look great in motion.
