the writing was pretty and the metaphor was good though sometimes i felt a bit lost in the pretty writing and kind of like there was nothing to tiny besides her caring about chouette. i really liked the very end. also i was not expecting this to be as uh . bloody as it was. um what else none of these thoughts are coherent. i still dont understand why tiny would have ever married her husband in the first place hes like. was there even any appeal before he was horrible to your child? he seems dreadfully suburban like he played football in high school and hosts superbowl parties. and i really liked the weird stuff like all the owl stuff! though i was confused about the owl-lover and the gloaming which was not ever really explained
