Wow, this was such a good sequel to Kingdom of Souls!
It started a little slow which was kind of a problem for me. I was having trouble staying awake (mostly due to other, non-book-related reasons) so I ended up getting the audio and restarting it.
And I loved it! Even though it took a little while to pick up, it got so good. There are so many twists that I did not see coming and Arrah's grief and experiences feel so authentic and palpable. I am a little heartbroken by the ending but it's so good!
