I was looking forward to this book as I liked Violet and her kind of hating-tension with Gavin. I was not disappointed, I really enjoyed it. It was quite short which is good for a quick sports romance read but I feel like I would've liked some more pages of their story.
So, Violet and Gavin were dating for three weeks or so, she lost her virginity to him and two days later he was in bed with her ex-roommate. This happened a year ago (even before Daisy's and Jordan's story). She basically hates him and all jocks. In this book, we quickly learn that both actually still like each other. But Violet get sick and Gavin is the only one there for her. You can guess the rest of the rest of the story.
"To be continued..." My old self was very optimistic that I would still know what I wanted to say but well... I don't. I should have taken some notes. Lesson hopefully learned.
I read the book firmly believing that Gavin didn't actually cheat on Violet because he always stated in his POV that he can't remember shit. He passed out in what he thought was Violet's bed and nothing happened. Thank God. Kind of annoying that her ex-flatmate never told the truth until the last chapter. I would have loved to see Violet's reaction.
The book could have had more pages, especially the end is very rushed. Next to the love story, we get Gavin's family drama with his Dad and more fashion design from Violet.
And a sports injury.

I actually liked this epilogue, it's like nine years in the future but very, very cute. We also get Daisy and Jordan content.
Generally, I liked the book as a cute sports romance but I can't remember more I wanted to say, so here are the two things I highlighted in the book (literally so incoherent):
"I'm having a hand flex moment here, Vi." (p.79)
Gavin feeling like Mr Darcy.
"Do I look like a racoon?" "A litte, but you're a very cute raccoon." (p.167)
Oh, I've heard this one myself.
