Finn's Rocket--a surfer catches air by Serena Schreiber

4.0

Finn’s Rocket is a story about kids going into space! One rollercoaster read. What twists and turns…. Kids as astronauts! This book has all of this and more. This is the first book of the Finn adventure series that I have read and once I got over the fact that it was a book that told a story about very intelligent kids I really enjoyed it.

Finn and his sister Gabi both join the Kennedy Space center for the holidays so both of them can do what they love. The twist in the tale is when he is unable to contact his sister and decides to investigate.

He has help from unexpected people and the takes off on an unforgettable adventure. The story teaches the readers about not giving up and working against the odds. The challenges Finn faces and overcomes are good lessons for the children.

Often we underestimate our kids and yet if we give them our support we would be surprised at what they can achieve. The book has all elements to make it a fun and fast read. The suspense, mystery and drama along with the mind blowing adventure will make any kid a fan of Finn’s Adventure. A good read.
