This was kinda slow to get through at times, but I did end up enjoying it. Adam and Olive’s banter and dynamic were my favorite things, and they shared so many vulnerable moments that I loved. Overall, really cute. I have read one of the author’s novellas and really enjoyed it, so I’ll give the rest of her work a go too! 

Spoiler SO GLAD someone got their comeuppance in this. I hated that incident in the book so much and it made me incredibly uncomfortable, though I know that was the author’s intent and I’m sure frequently happens. UGH. When olive found the recording I shouted HELL YEAH GIRL GET HIM

There was also too much of the “omg he’s so big and she’s so small” trope. Like ok we get it, move on…
