Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
4.0
This book seriously made me rethink my academic career (which is non-existent) because if there’s more than one Levi Ward, i NEED THEM IN MY LIFE.
I loved Bree, her unexpected life story and how she grew with it. I love how she craves stability after everything she’s been through AND I love how Levi tried to reassure her and prove to her they belonged together. I mean, isn’t it refreshing that for once it’s the man who does all the work and helps the woman trust him ? I don’t know why I feel like it’s mostly the other way around ?
Also, something I really like was : ok this is in a scientific environment, with scientifics and engineers and really big words. And everything was pretty understandable ? I wasn’t lost in the plot and all the scientific jargon. This part was well explained (with simple english words) So yes, points for that !
