Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.

I'm so tired of "quirky" female characters being used to mask shit writing. The dialogue was terrible. The narrator is 28 years old and felt 14. Her best friend was a little more redeemable only because she was literally 70, but even her language was just awful. The summary and title were so intriguing but I was not about to suffer through 200 pages of over-used exclamation points and italics to add one more book off my to-read pile. Just a huge disappointment honestly. I'm sure I would have more critical things to say if I had managed to stomach more than 30 pages but alas, I do not.
