Whispering Rock by Robyn Carr

After seeing Mike on the Netflix show, and also meeting him briefly in the previous books, I knew his story would be interesting, and it sure was!!!

Mike felt like a hopeless romantic to me, and as soon as he was injured I felt he needed to dive a little deeper into himself, and that's what he did. He figured out what he wanted to do, and that a small town like Virgin River, and his friends that are his family, was all he really needed. Brie on the other hand had to learn to trust again, and learn that she was strong just like she had always knew she was. She rebuilt herself, and with the help of others she learned what she wanted out of life as well.

This story was cute, and exactly what I needed. A heartfelt story that followed family, friends, love, loss, and learning that some of the most important things in ones life can be the simple things. Life doesn't have to be so complicated, and being surrounded by those you love can be exactly the right thing to help you get through anything
