I picked up this book because I saw and read many reviews of readers comparing it to A Court of Thorns and Roses. I can't be the only one out here chasing after the high of ACOTAR. So, case in point... going into this I had very high expectations.
I could definitely see similarities and why readers compared it to ACOTAR, but it wasn't until the very end. I don't know if it was because I was reading another book at the same time, but it was quite slow for me in the beginning and throughout most of the book. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book, I did enjoy it but the last couple of chapters were the saving grace for Glimmerglass. With how it ended and left you hanging wanting more... I will continue on to the second book but I only hope that it continues where it left off...
