A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin

5.0

Improves on the complexities of the first book. There is so much going on yet Martin expertly handles the ins and outs of the conflicts happening across westeros with venomous precision and detail. Most of the characters continue to be despicable and downright horrific human beings and you're only options to morally root for are the Stark children. (I used to like Tyrion but he was a bit of a creep in this book). I'm looking forward to the next book.
