Ruby Heat by Connor Crowe

Did not finish book.

Really disappointing. I loved the premise, the humor, the characters. But the execution fell short. Things were brought up and then forgotten, the plot was set up to go one way and then quickly veered 180 degrees the opposite. Vital world building and plot points were glossed over and never explained.

Could have been great, but wasn't. Don't even bother. I read the preview and even that wasn't a good indicator of what the rest of the book was going to be like.
