And thus the saga ends.
Gwynne...why? Why did you rip my entire heart out? Elvar's death? SPERTs DEATH? SERIOUSLY?!?!
I hate Rotta and the gods and what they did to our girls.
I do really love the ending and what happened to the Bloodsworn and Battle-Grim. Elvar and Grends character development, Okra and Brecca's reunion, Varg's justice, all of it was perfect. Even Lif's ending and character arc was beautiful.
The ending was everything I needed it to be. I appreciate that Gwynne is not afraid to kill his characters, which is rare in today's fantasy. 10/10, can't wait to read another one of his series.
