I loved how strong and smart arsed Missy is and how she takes no shit from Roi. The best book in the bookset of four that I've read.
Missy is paranormal because she was experimented on as a child, she also happens to be Roi's mate. She met him when she was four and has been searching for him her whole life. The road for them is not smooth, he's been with a lot of women and Missy doesn't want to just be a notch on his bedpost. Roi suffers from foot in mouth disease, it seems they are doomed from the start, especially when he learns who she works for and wants her to stay safe and out of harms way.
However, when he and his team see her in action and have only respect for her bad-ass-ness. A fantastically hot book with well thought out characters.
