Assassin's Creed Odyssey by Gordon Doherty

3.0

The last Assassin's Creed novel I read was the first one with Altair, I enjoyed the way that it fleshed out the canon of the game. I had hoped the same would be true of Odyssey.

Unfortunately I didn't find that to be the case. I enjoyed the battle scenes! But not sure I had enthusiasm for much else. It flew through a lot of the major choices without much impact, especially Alexios's death. The time skips were also confusing at times, and after most of them the explanation was "Kassandra did mercenary things".

Wasn't terrible but I won't read it again.
