The Absolute Sandman, Volume One by Neil Gaiman, Michael Zulli, Chris Bachalo, Kelley Jones, Mike Dringenberg, Charles Vess, Malcolm Jones III, Steve Parkhouse, Sam Kieth, Colleen Doran

4.0

This is was simply amazing. I am in love with the Sandman universe. I have quickly grown in love with him, his character growth and progressing compassion and mercy. I love his adventures and his interventions. I love lathe violence and the gore. I absolutely love his sister, Death. I want her to be my bff. She is so kind and compassionate and chill. There are some wise pockets of wisdom in here too. Which you bet I will be photocopying and pasting on my walls. The only reason why I did not give this 5 stars is because of the altered color scheme. I really really think it took away an important element of the entire way the story was told. It's such a shame I can't read it in the original vibrant and colourful manner it was supposed to be.
