My interpretation of the book:

Sophie's skills and talents are expanding and turning more powerful. She doesn't need any help from the Black Swan. She can fight alone. Determined to find her kidnappers and find out what they want with her, Sophie dares herself to stretch further. Until she makes a mistake.
Now, the peaceful Elvin world is breaking apart and at the edge of war.
It's now Sophie's job to make this right.

I feel like this just got too intense! I LOVE IT!!!!!
