Update: I kept listening, she did eventually get better and by the end I liked her. Don’t give up, it gets better. I am on book 2 now, so far MC isn’t making my eye twitch with twit behaviour but it’s been close a couple times. I gave it another 4 because it got better but I take 1 away because I was emotionally hurting from holding in rage at a fictional character. Some would say that’s some pretty damn good writing!
I am ready to absolutely quit this stupid book!! Like seriously Clarke is an absolute IDIOT. Imagine you wake up in the future and life is nothing like you knew!! You have someone taking care of you but you are slightly annoyed at them but also want them! Then you go to a dangerous place and the only thing from you being discovered is a effin hood!!! Serious a hood! So guy you are annoyed with leaves you in your room so you don’t feel uncomfortable. Then you decide “imma go down to the tavern and make friends with with people. You make comments referring to….get this…EFFIN INSTAGRAM!! You would think that might be the enough for you to realize the danger but NOPE!! You will continue nose diving into absolute peril. I don’t know if I can finish this book! She’s giving some stranger a palm reading but breaking all the political laws!!! UGH it was good until then.
