Did I enjoy this book? Sure. Was it also a bit disturbing? 

Definitely. Let's just agree to move on and never mention this again. 

My feelings are all over the place with this one. Sure, it had its steamy moments, but Garrett's manic depression getting a casual mention at 80%? That should've been addressed way earlier. And while I get the appeal of the exhibitionist theme, their public reconciliation in front of 30+ people? No, thanks. Apologize privately, then go have your fun—no need to involve an audience. 

This book is practically a checklist of red flags: 

•  The plot is paper-thin, almost nonexistent.
•  The characters are one-dimensional, defined solely by their voyeuristic tendencies. Garrett at least gets running as a second trait, but poor Mia? She's got nothing.
•  Insta-love out of nowhere. Garrett's known Mia since she was a kid, and now she's suddenly the love of his life? Hard pass.
•  The mental health subplot felt forced. With more depth and better character development, it could have worked, but here, it just fell flat.
•  This isn't the Garrett from Praise. Whoever this imposter is, someone should call the authorities.
•  Mia is whiny, immature, and too quick to forgive. She needs higher standards and to retire the words "flesh" and

"belly" from her vocabulary-neither of them are sexy.
 
"Flesh" screams Hannibal Lecter, and "belly" makes me think of a dog. Just, no.
 
• Mia's narration was incredibly grating. I wanted to shake some sense into her. And the "I don't have female friends because they're catty" trope? Immediate turn-off.
 
I don't get it. Praise nailed it-great chemistry, solid plot, and strong character development. Everything that was missing here. Honestly, three stars is me being generous.
