This was a decent thriller. I feel like the storyline is repetitive to other thrillers I’ve read. College murder, friends shattered and can’t move on, then solving it later. I read 3 books last year with the same plot.

It is a coming of age story told through
two timelines which I think the author did rather well. The first half of the book however, is incredibly slow and I almost didn’t want to finish it. It picked up, and I actually didn’t guess the “who done it”, which is rare so giving it extra points for that! Overall - the book was too long and drawn out in the beginning, but it picks up if you can make it through that. The second half was much better and I thought the ending was good.
