The claiming sex, the most important sex scene in a shifter novel where the mate bond locks into place, was the shortest and worst sex scene in the whole book. And get this, it took place in a dark hallway at the back of a HOMELESS SHELTER on CHRISTMAS MORNING while people were being served breakfast. This happened at the very end of the book and just left a bad taste in my mouth.
And back to the first time they had sex - the heroine never thought about using a condom with the homeless Hero all night long through several rounds of sex. Then suddenly the next morning she experienced remorse?
