Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

4.0

Lessons in Chemistry is one of the witty books I ever read. It is so fun and literally a lot of life lessons. It is a heartbreaking story of a struggling chemist to fit in a society that is divided by gender and race. Elizabeth Zott raised her daughter despite everything else and was determined to be a chemist even if cooking on a tv show was her only choice for her to make a living. What a wonderful read it is no doubt it was a goodreads choice awardee. Highly recommended!! 4/5
