Ms. Marvel, Vol. 5: Super Famous by G. Willow Wilson

5.0

This is beautiful. Simply beautiful. G. Willow Wilson continues the work she started when she had Kamala Khan take up the mantle of Ms. Marvel and balances superhero hijinks, family, friends, and trying to fit in as a teenager. In fact, that is what this volume is about. Kamala has filled up her schedule a little TOO full between being an Avenger, a teen in high school, and trying to help her brother find the woman of his dreams. The stories deal with how she handles her busy life and learns (with some help from her friends) what is most important to her, and how to prioritize her life. I want to say more but don't want to spoil the story.

I love this run so, so much. Everyone should read it. While it helps to have started at the start, this represents a new jumping-off point and you could pick this up with little prior knowledge of the character.
