Die Chemie des Todes, by Simon Beckett

2.0

I was so disappointed. EVERYONE told me I have to read this book. I never heard anything bad about it, it seems like it was loved by everyone. tbh, the only thing I liked was David and his relationship with Jenny. You could smell the plotwist from miles away, the villain was the most obvious one I ever saw. The only thing that surprised me was his old marriage, that’s it. The writing was so good an easy to read. I hoped there would be a lot more deepnes in David’s job. If anyone would ask me, read this book if you are bored for a few days, don’t expect too much and please don’t be as disappointed as I was, it’s heartbreaking.
