The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks

3.0

I have a soft spot for Nicolas Sparks. It's all very very bad. Like so bad. But I like to hate-read it and I'll never stop.

(THE NOTEBOOK AND A WALK TO REMEMBER ARE OBVI NOT INCLUDED)

Nicholas Sparks really doesn't like women. If you're coming to his books with the hope of finding strong women you're not going to find them here. He loves his heroines but only if they fit a certain standard. They're not allowed to be flighty or too overtly female (NO PINK ALLOWED). Also- no salads (that's sissy food) and no women's empowerment talk (there's an actual convo in this book about how feminists hate all men).

But yet- I've read this book like 4x
