Picking up from the last volume Marshall of Starlight Beacon Avar Kriss has formed an alliance with the Hutt Cartel to battle the threat of the Drengir in the frontier. All while Keeve Trennis is dealing with the aftermath of going into the hive mind of the Drengir.
