Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines by Nic Sheff

2.0

I read his father's book, Beautiful Boy last year. Once I knew his son had written his own memoir of addiction, I had to have this perspective. Part of me will never understand what the appeal is of torturing one's body to the extent that he did. I am not sure I have any further understanding after finishing his memoir. Nic Sheff left me feeling very angry towards him and disgusted by his self importance. I don't get it and I wish I did.
